• Handling of Personal Information

  We recognize that personal information is important information that constitutes privacy and that it is our social responsibility to thoroughly protect such information. We will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and regulations. We will establish a management system for the protection of personal information, and ensure that all of our directors and employees are familiar with and comply with our regulations.

• Purpose of use of personal information

  In light of our business objectives, we will use the personal information we obtain to provide information regarding our business, to enter into and fulfill contracts, to develop new services, and to provide information that we believe will be beneficial to our customers. Specifically, we will use the information for the following purposes.

  　

  1. To receive feedback from customers

  2. To respond to inquiries and requests for information materials

  3. To provide information on our products and services

  4. To develop or improve services

  5. To enter into and fulfill contracts necessary for the performance of business

  6. To implement various applications, reports, and other procedures necessary for business activities

  7. To verify the identity of and contact persons who enter our offices and work sites

  8. To provide explanations of construction, projects, etc. to neighboring residents, landowners, etc. in the vicinity of the site

  9. To conduct internal and external public relations activities and related operations

  10. For accounting and auditing purposes

  11. To accept and implement applications for employment selection

  12. To perform other tasks necessary for business activities

• Sharing of personal information and provision of personal information to third parties

  In order to achieve the purpose of use described in the preceding paragraph, we may outsource business to our partner companies and entrust personal information to them to the extent necessary for the business. In such cases, we will exercise appropriate supervision and management, such as by concluding a confidentiality agreement regarding personal information between us and the subcontractor. Other than that, we will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual, except in the following cases.

  2. When outsourcing to partner companies and subcontractors that have entered into confidentiality agreements with us regarding personal information.

  3. When processing statistical data, etc., in such a way that individuals cannot be identified.

  4. When the provision of personal information is required or permitted by laws and regulations.

  5. When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question.

  6. When it is necessary for us to cooperate with a national or local government or an entity entrusted by such a government or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person in question.

  7. When requested to provide personal information by a court, public prosecutor's office, police department, or other agency with equivalent authority.

• Disclosure, correction, deletion, etc. of personal information

  When an individual requests disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or cessation of provision of personal information to a third party ("disclosure, etc."), we will promptly respond to the request within a reasonable scope after confirming the identity of the individual. However, we may not be able to respond to requests for personal information held in accordance with laws and regulations. In addition, personal information obtained in connection with an inquiry for disclosure, etc. shall be handled only to the extent necessary to carry out such procedures.

  　

• Prevention of leakage or damage to personal information

  In order to properly manage and protect personal information, we will implement information security measures for computer systems (e.g., introduction of security systems, limitation of access privileges, periodic password changes, etc.), properly dispose of confidential documents, and strive to prevent loss, leakage, or damage of personal information. If any deficiencies in this management system are discovered through internal inspections or by external organizations, we will immediately take corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
